GeFe uses account, identity and marketplace checks to reduce fraud and improve trust between buyers and sellers.
Seller checks
Depending on account activity and risk level, sellers may be asked to verify their email address, phone number, identity, payout information or business details.
Listing and account review
GeFe may review listings, photographs, descriptions, pricing and account behaviour. Suspicious listings can be restricted or removed while additional information is requested.
What buyers should still check
Verification reduces risk but does not replace careful buying. Review the seller profile, photographs, measurements, condition notes and return information before paying.
Report suspicious listings or messages through the platform rather than moving the transaction outside GeFe.
